Indie-Games.eu Is Returning on November 2nd With a New Focus on Video and Discovery

A new chapter for Indie-Games.eu begins on November 2, 2026: more video coverage, written reviews and previews, and more ways to discover your next game.

Editorial Announcement - Breaking News

Indie-Games.eu is going through a revival. We are rebuilding the website around what we want to do best: show you games worth your time, share our experiences and help you discover something you might otherwise have missed. The new direction officially begins on Monday, November 2, 2026.

A smaller team, a clearer focus

Running a full editorial operation is demanding, especially for a small team. Trying to cover regular news, rumours, controversies and top-ten lists in written form leaves less time for the work we most want to create. We have realised that trying to keep up with everything is not a sustainable direction for us.

That is why video will become the main focus of Indie-Games.eu. We want to spend more time showing you games in motion, talking through our impressions and creating coverage that gives you a clearer idea of what playing them is actually like.

Written coverage will still have an important place here. Most reviews, previews and other longer pieces will remain available to read alongside our videos. Whether you prefer watching or reading, our goal is to give you both ways to experience that coverage.

A place to find your next game

The website is also being built as a place for discovery. You should be able to visit without a particular game in mind and leave with something new to play, watch or follow.

That is the purpose behind the Release Calendar, Demo Finder, Hidden Gems and trailer sections. Together, they give us different ways to highlight games that can easily disappear beneath larger announcements and busier release schedules. Some will be games you already recognise; others may be projects you have never heard of.

We want Indie-Games.eu to help you explore those possibilities, whether that means trying a demo, watching gameplay, finding an upcoming release or spending a few minutes with an interesting developer trailer.

Starting November 2nd

Our official return begins on Monday, November 2nd, 2026. We will aim to bring you something new each day and give you a reason to come back, while keeping the workload realistic for a small team.

The previous website contained years of coverage, and we do not want that work to simply disappear. Our intention is to preserve it in an archive so that older articles can still be searched and found. That remains part of our plans as we prepare the new website.

Built to keep improving

We are currently working through development, testing and the final preparations for launch. The aim is a faster website that is easier to browse, easier for us to manage and better suited to the coverage we want to make.

November 2nd will be the beginning of that work in public. We will continue polishing the experience, fixing problems and improving the website as we learn what works for you.

Thank you for being part of Indie-Games.eu, whether you have followed us for years or are discovering us for the first time. We are looking forward to showing you what comes next.
