Wishlist Numbers Rise for Songs of Conquest Ahead of 1.0 Launch

Songs of Conquest, a turn-based strategy game inspired by classic titles of the genre, is set to depart Early Access next month. Going by the metrics, it is predicted to have a promising outcome. In a post on X, the Lavapotion development team stated that Songs of Conquest saw a significant jump in wishlists after it was announced that version 1.0 was coming soon.

As a result, the game now has nearly 500k wishlists on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. Steam probably has the largest share, but it is not exactly indicated how they are distributed between the different platforms.

The game offers singleplay and multiplayer, a level editor that allows you to create your own adventures, four factions, the ability to manage resources, explore new technologies, or generally plan strategies through construction, and a combat system that also offers the use of magic.

Songs of Conquest 1.0 releases on May 20th along with the final campaign on Steam. The studio plans to continue supporting the game through general improvements and content upgrades.
