Unforetold: Witchstone is looking to build on the success of Baldur's Gate 3, and it's releasing at the end of January

Unforetold: Witchstone might remind you of Baldur's Gate 3, as it blends CRPG gameplay with sandbox elements, including a deep, reactive influence system that lets you shape the fate of the world around you.

Announced during the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted 2023, the studio developing this game, Spearhead Games, promises a unique gaming experience in Unforetold. We will experience the fantastic land of Kalsundia through the unprecedented possibilities of the RPG genre, the possibility of influencing others and setting our own goals. Every choice along your journey integrates into a non-linear narrative system that dynamically changes relationships and outcomes. Forget the painstaking chains of tasks because you enter a freer world of milestones and opportunities, where you choose with your own hands who to help and what to do.

The inhabitants of Kalsundia act and react with a purpose. They own real estate, have unique personalities, create friendships or enmities, and have their own preferences that shape how they view factions, individuals, and you.

In addition to having a deep system of customizing your own character, the goal will be to recruit other characters in Kalsundia. Unlike most RPGs, there is no limit to who or how many you can recruit, but keep in mind that everyone has their own desires and may not be willing to do things that go against their nature.

Unforetold: Witchstone will be released on PC via Steam Early Access on January 25, 2024.
