Publisher Ankama and development studio Blue Banshee have announced Maliki: Poison of the Past, a turn-based RPG set in the world of the Maliki graphic novel, which will be available for Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam), with a release date yet to be announced.
In a not-so-distant future, humanity teeters on the brink of extinction, threatened by a dreadful poison, a plant monster that distorts the space-time continuum. Led by the enigmatic Maliki, the small band of survivors unite and coordinate their efforts from the Domaine, a sanctuary outside of time that remains untouched by the threat.
Embark on a journey as Sand, traveling through time to restore the continuum. Utilize the Chrono Pack to manipulate time while confronting the monsters that have overrun the past worlds. Alongside an unusual and magical cast of characters, engage in strategic battles and unleash devastating joint attacks with your allies. Maliki: Poison of the Past delivers a fantastic odyssey with a rich narrative, featuring an unexpected blend of RPG elements, exploration, time-based puzzle-solving, and turn-based tactical combat.
