Imagine a game that combines DayZ or Rust, but you play as a duck. Just recently announced is DUCKSIDE, an open world survival game that brings PvPvE elements, crafting, base building, and hat-wearing, weapon-wielding ducks.
Use your feathered legs or fly across the vast island, where valuable resources and treasures await any duck lucky enough to discover them. But stay alert, because the other duck players will do everything to prevent you from getting valuable things at their expense.
Harvest resources, craft weapons and tools, and build shelters to protect your loot and your life. Therefore, in order to fully immerse you in the role of a duck, the developers introduced a revolutionary player control system with sophisticated flight mechanics that allow you to slide, hover, accelerate and dive, even while shooting and fighting.
A living duck can save his gear and keep his teammates alive. However, a dead duck is much less useful. So gear up, build nests for safety, storage, survival and strategic advantage, but be warned: nothing is completely safe. Every structure can be destroyed, every hideout can be looted, and every migration can end in death. Also, you can play alone or form a flock with other ducks to build, explore, fight and survive together. In addition to sophisticated combat items, you can also use very useful guns that will greatly help you survive in this world.
DUCKSIDE doesn't have a specific release date yet, but it will be available for PC via Steam.
