Very little is known about World of Goo 2, apart from the first trailer that was presented during The Game Awards 2023 event, we still have no detailed information about this game.
15 years ago, we dived into the unique experience of the puzzle game World of Goo, where we connected small dots of mud to create impressive and barely stable structures. The same is expected in the upcoming sequel (allegedly), and the developers themselves were very sparing with information, since they also did not reveal much on their website.
Studio 2DBOY, which is developing World of Goo 2, promises the biggest game they've created yet. The sequel brings new mechanics, including cannons and fluid segments, with the developer stating that with today's hardware they have the opportunity to realize the full vision of the game.
World of Goo 2 is expected to be available in 2024, and for which platforms this game will be released for have not yet been confirmed.
