Arctic Hazard, a Norway-based studio, has announced Norse, a Viking-age turn-based strategy RPG for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam). The release date has not been announced yet.

In Norse, you are transported to the rugged beauty of ancient Norway, immersing yourself in the Viking Age. The game follows Gunnar, a young warrior on an epic quest for vengeance. After the treacherous Steinarr Far-Spear murders his father, Jarl Gripr, and decimates his people, Gunnar must rebuild, form alliances, and rise to reclaim honor and justice.

You must craft your settlement from scratch, gather allies from across the land, and train a formidable warband. Every decision shapes the world, navigating a landscape filled with danger and opportunity. You will face rival clans, forge strong bonds, and outmaneuver enemies in tactical, turn-based battles that test your strategic skills.

The narrative, penned by award-winning and Sunday Times bestselling author Giles Kristian, brings a rich, historically immersive story to life. With unforgettable characters and a gripping plot, every moment is an adventure where honor, loyalty, and revenge are paramount.
