The Thaumaturge Release Rescheduled to Avoid Busy February Period

Despite being ready to release The Thaumaturge, 11 Bit Studios and Fool's Theory have decided to delay its launch. This tactical decision to move to March 2024 reflects their intention to ensure the games proper moment in the spotlight, strategically avoiding competition with other big upcoming titles that could overshadow its debut.

The Thaumaturge, which gained attention for its immersive turn-based gaming experience set in 1905 Warsaw, was originally scheduled for release on February 20. However, the developers have now specified 4th March 2024 as the new launch date.

This title will initially be available to players exclusively on PC platforms – Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG. Console players will be able to play this title a bit later on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms.

In this narrative-driven RPG, players take on the role of Wiktor Szulski, a thaumaturge in search of peace with his past. Set in Warsaw in 1905, the story revolves around the complex theme of inner demons and how in this world it can mean more than just a mental burden. In The Thaumaturge, demons known as Salitors feed on the darkest secrets and only the titular thaumaturge has the ability to release someone from this burden.
