Turn-based RPG The Starbites: Taste of Desert will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam in 2024, Korean developer IKINAGAMES has announced.
The game follows the life of a young woman who earns a living by searching for parts or treasures lost in the desert due to war, however, her fate begins to change after meeting the "Oracle". As players, you'll be constantly going around Delight City, even though it's sunken into the sand little by little, the people who gather in the city trade their own materials and information to live from day to day. Also, the city has a hidden area that no one has ever found, and you will discover various NPCs and special objects to get clues and continue the story to unlock a new level.
Each chapter brings a boss fight and encounter with a stronger ally, with whom you build strong relationships and share their stories. Go on an adventure with your own mech, a loyal companion that will protect you in the bottomless desert. Rewards can be won by defeating enemies in battle or strengthening your mech by gathering materials while exploring the terrain, with “synergy” applied depending on your party members.
