Jump Ship is a co-op FPS game for four players, where you take on the role of the crew of a spaceship. It features a sandbox mode for exploration and space travel, where you engage in intense battles both on the ground and in space while also managing and upgrading your ship.
Choose from many hand-crafted missions with random elements as no journey will be the same. Once you've landed your ship on a planet, you can easily switch between controlling the ship, exploring space or the planet on foot, while looking for parts to upgrade or repair, and customizing it to your needs.
With your friends, go on missions together and take on different roles, from pilots to engineers and explorers. Cooperation is key to overcoming enemy attacks, putting out fires on the command deck, or adjusting your ship's power grid while on the move. There are no predetermined steps in Jump Ship; improvise and decide what your role is.
"We plan to have more missions and scenarios in the full version and an overall improved gaming experience. We're still not sure how long our game will last in early access; we want to have enough time to improve and adapt the game together with the community. We plan to stay in early access for about three months, ideally longer," Keepsake Games said.
Jump Ship doesn't have a specific release date, but it will be available for PC via Steam Early Access.
