Announced during the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted event last week, MADFINGER Games, a.s. presented its ambitious tactical FPS with maximum focus on realism – Gray Zone Warfare. In the game, we will adapt to the environment and clash with other human operators and enemies controlled by artificial intelligence.

Gray Zone Warfare takes inspiration from extraction shooters like Escape from Tarkov and promises real consequences and catches. According to the developers, any fight can result in the loss of your valuable gear and progress. In this game, the emphasis is on "simulating the human body" instead of simply showing health as a fluctuating number, meaning you are challenged to carefully evaluate your own or other people's illnesses in order to choose the appropriate medicine.

In addition, extremely customizable weapons and equipment await us, providing the opportunity to create your own firearm that perfectly suits your needs and play style. By replacing, removing or adding hundreds of different parts, mounts and accessories, we can change the behavior and performance of each weapon, making it adaptable to any situation.

The exact structure of Gray Zone Warfare has not yet been fully clarified, but the game will support solo and team play, with the map representing a permanent island of 42 square kilometers. The developers promise an interesting story told through missions and NPCs, which probably connects to the mysterious events in the game. Provided development continues on schedule, we'll be able to explore this tactical world next year on PC via Steam.
