Developer Canari Games, known for the LUNARK adventure, has announced Castaway, a 2D retro pixel art action adventure coming to PC via the Steam platform, although a release date has not yet been announced.
Dive into the action-adventure Castaway, which takes you into the world of a pixelated and retro universe. Take on the role of Martin, whose spaceship has crashed on an unknown island where hostile creatures have taken his faithful pet. Take up arms and bravely set out to rescue your kidnapped friend in this charming and dynamic world.
To successfully complete the game, you must defeat three bosses in a short but delightful Story Mode to unlock the exciting and addictive Survivor Mode. Climb to the top of the 50-story tower, where each floor presents increasingly challenging levels. Aimed at players of all ages, Castaway offers a variety of gameplay modes, from a "pacifist" mode with no enemies to a challenging "unfair" mode. Also, test your skills and try to finish the game as fast as possible in speedrun mode.
A demo version of this game will soon be available on PC via Steam.
