Sunkissed City is a Life Simulation Game for Stardew Valley Enthusiasts Who Prefer City Living

If you are a fan of Stardew Valley but prefer the hustle and bustle of city life, we have good news for you. One of Stardew Valley's former developers, Arthur “Mr. Podunkian” Lee, has announced his latest game called Sunnkised City.

This game combines favorite aspects of Stardew Valley with a vibrant, sun-drenched coastal metropolis filled with intriguing characters. Although there is no trailer yet, the game's Steam page shows some interesting screenshots. According to the game's description on Steam, players will take on the role of "a newly hired staff member in Pico Corporation's new pilot program called 'Peco Pioneer'."

Your task will be to build relationships within the vibrant Apollo community and advocate for the corporation's new environmental initiatives. However, not everything is so perfect: wild animals are becoming more and more aggressive, the waters are lifeless, monsters are coming out of the canals, not to mention the constant migraines that plague the residents.

Unlike Stardew Valley, where players have their own farm, in Sunkissed City players can tend to home gardens organized by the local "plant-punk" group or spend quiet afternoons in the park with a good book or drinking coffee with the residents of the Weird Dog Café. It is also possible to fish and pick wild herbs. It looks like the game version of mines will be replaced by channels full of monsters.

Sunkissed City offers an alternative life for those who may have grown tired of fresh air and growing their own vegetables. It promises to be an intriguing and original game that allows players to explore the charms of life in an exciting city.

The game is slated to release in the fourth quarter of 2024, although an exact date has not been revealed. The PC version will be released first (Steam), and then the console versions.
