Stray Fawn, the indie studio behind The Wandering Village, has announced the third title in its publishing line – Flotsam. It's a survival game set in a garbage city on water.

Stray Fawn joined the ranks of indie publishers in March 2023 with their first partner game, Earth of Oryn, a medieval kingdom-building title, followed by Airborne Empire in June 2023. Both games reached 50,000 Steam wishlists and launched is expected later this year. With Flotsam, developed by award-winning Belgian studio Pajama Llama, as the third game in its publishing line, Stray Fawn will further strengthen its commitment to the city-builder genre.

Flotsam launched in early access in September 2019 and has been continuously improved and expanded thanks to player feedback. With this publishing deal, Pajama Llama will successfully be able to add controller support, new content, an improved tutorial as well as the long-awaited story ending. Version 1.0 is expected to be released this summer.

It's a relaxing city-builder and survival game where players oversee a group of drifters navigating the polluted ocean on their mobile floating city. Since the ecological approach is quite important in this game, players will recycle garbage in workshops and desalinize water to provide their population fresh water and shelter. Flotsam aims to create an ever-changing world, with different biomes and landmarks. This means that you will go through a dynamic environment while managing energy through fossil or sustainable generators.
