Developer Walking Tree Games GmbH and publisher Starbreeze Entertainment have announced that the survival game The Tribe Must Survive will launch on PC via Steam Early Access. Combining the strategic depth of tribe-building with the thrill of survival and rouge-like elements, this Lovecraftian Stone Age adventure is set to challenge players around the world.
The Tribe Must Survive will spend its first three months in early access, using that time to fine-tune game balance and respond to community feedback that comes in during that period. This will result in the best possible version of the game in the second quarter, with the addition of some planned content.
In The Tribe Must Survive, your responsibility is to build and manage a tribe. You will need to manage resource gathering, construction, technology and tribal dynamics to survive the hidden dangers of the night. There is no universal recipe for survival, as each tribe carries its own unique strengths and challenges that the player must solve, and each member of the tribe behaves according to their own preferences. The game is designed to be challenging, where each failure serves as a step towards the next success.
The game will launch in early access on Steam February 22.
