Publisher Playtonic Friends and Blossom Tale series developer Castle Pixel have announced a new game called Cattle Country. This cowboy life simulation game is set to be released for PC via Steam, though the release date has not yet been revealed.

Cattle Country combines cozy wholesome gaming with action adventure elements. It offers hours of frontier life activities like mining, fishing, crafting, and farming, alongside engaging Wild West quests filled with stories of romance, cattle drives, bandits, and robberies.

In this game, you’ll make your home on the range, working from sunrise to sunset. You’ll get your hands dirty with farming, raising cattle, and crafting to build your own little slice of heaven under the blue skies of Cattle Country. Getting to know the townsfolk is also a big part of the game. The people here are tough, as they need to be to survive, but they have warm hearts if you take the time to connect with them.

However, not everyone in Cattle Country is friendly. You’ll need to be on the lookout for bandits and shady characters, protecting your homestead and your community from their plots. Building relationships is crucial, and there are 18 romanceable characters to meet. There are also rumors of treasure hidden in the mines, waiting for those brave enough to search for it. With your pickaxe in hand, you can venture out to find precious metals, minerals, and even bandit stashes.
