Developer SouthPAW has revealed that 2021's Skul: The Hero Slayer has sold 2 million copies in as many years. The publisher of this game is Neowiz.
Skul is a 2D action platformer with roguelike elements and is the debut title of the aforementioned studio. It is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. As a token of thanks to players, SouthPAW has put Skul on 50% off from now until January 18th, 2024, a few days before his third anniversary.
Neowiz released Lies of P earlier this year, which is similar to Skul in that it combines roguelike and soulslike elements. Within a month of its release, Lies of P sold 1 million copies. In addition, it was nominated for awards at the Game Awards event, in the categories of Best Art Direction and RPG, and was included in Steam's Silver Editions for 2023.
