Publisher PM Studios and developer Team Suneat have announced side-scrolling roguelite action platformer Dragon is Dead for PC via Steam. It will first launch in early access, where it will remain for a year, with an undisclosed release date.
All the dragons who dared to defy the gods are now defeated, except Guernian. As the leader of the dark dragons, who lost his peers in the battle against the gods and embraced evil, he embarks on a journey of revenge. Your task is to become a dragon slayer hero capable of stopping Guernian. You'll also need to defeat twisted monsters and giant, terrifying enemies created by the Guernian. With an extensive arsenal of skills, equipment, and power-boosting dragontongue runes, you can overwhelm any enemy. Do not fear death and accept the challenge to perfect your skills, master abilities and equip yourself with powerful equipment.
Each enemy will have their own attack patterns, and by exploiting their weaknesses you can defeat them. Additionally, the artifacts you equip will trigger different synergies depending on their combination. By choosing the right synergies, you can build your skills and experience strong growth.
In early access, the game will include eight chapters, two playable characters, more than 180 artifacts, hundreds of pieces of equipment, over 30 legendary items, and more than 25 synergies. Various enemies and bosses will also be present.
