Prague indie studio Rawmeat announced that it has launched a campaign on Kickstarter for his game called Scribe.
Scribe is a unique combination of retro platformers and side-scrolling action games, masterfully mixed with the nostalgic charm of point-and-click adventures. This unique blend is further enriched by the inclusion of modern RPG mechanics, providing an innovative experience. Although moving at a slower pace, Scribe offers an action-packed adventure and exploration RPG, carefully crafted by a dedicated team of two.
"After several hard years of Indie development, we’re ready to announce that Scribe has launched a campaign on Kickstarter. We’re eager to share our ideas, our passion, and the fruits of our labor with our fans and supporters. This campaign is not just about funding our project, it’s about building a community around Scribe, a community that shares our vision and our excitement", stated the Rawmeat team.
Scribe boasts diverse and engaging mechanics, including branching dialogue, quests, combat, crafting, stealth, archery, and magic. All these elements are presented in impressive hand-made pixel art graphics, adding visual appeal to the game. The game's mechanical design aims to provide a comprehensive and engaging gaming experience, ensuring that players can always discover something new and exciting.
Scribe doesn't have a specific release date, but it will be available for PC via Steam.
