Detective Sammy Jukes is the man on the job when an anti-oil activist goes missing in a small town situated on the new oil pipeline route. In this first-person adventure game, you will talk to witnesses, sift through evidence, wrestle with wolves, and chase after chickens to uncover the truth.

The seemingly idyllic town of Twin Lakes hides dark secrets. As Detective Jukes digs deeper into the mystery, he uncovers layers of intrigue and deception and your mission is to gather information and piece together an explosive conclusion. The narrative is inspired by iconic shows and movies such as Twin Peaks, True Detective, and Monty Python. It also addresses the timely theme of environmentalists versus big oil companies.

The game features a diverse cast of characters, including the drunk small-town Sheriff, grieving parents, anti-oil activists, a snarky Mayor, conspiracy theorists, wannabe influencers, and Crazy Old Jim Bob. Each character is brought to life with professional voice actors, enhancing their personalities. Created with Unreal Engine 5 and Metahuman technology, these characters appear more lifelike than ever before.

You have the freedom to explore the open-world map of Twin Lakes at your own pace. Choices matter, leading to multiple endings based on your decisions. Unlike traditional walking simulators, you can even run to explore the environment more quickly. Additionally, you must follow proper legal procedures. Obtain search warrants for suspects and establish probable cause for arrests, all while respecting civil rights and due process.

Sammy Jukes: Twin Lakes will be available for PC via Steam on September 19 this year.
