Black Kite Games has announced that roguelike deck-builder Acolyte of the Altar will launch on March 25th. It is a game in which as players we need to use the synergy of cards and defeat a series of enemies that come our way.
Acolyte of the Altar stands out for its rare integration of all-out creature combat and card synergy. We'll be able to summon an army of creatures with their own health and attack stats, which can then interact with each other in various ways. But Acolyte of the Altar brings an innovation to the genre, which is that beasts become more powerful the longer a battle lasts.
During each randomly generated battle, mana balance needs to be maintained while summoning powerful creatures. After winning, you can unlock new abilities that improve your cards and give your character powerful advantages. In addition, no two gameplays are the same, meaning you will encounter different enemies.
Acolyte of the Altar will be available via PC via Steam March 25.
