Developer Pixelsplit and publisher Daedalic Entertainment have released a detailed look at the gameplay mechanics through a new video for their upcoming psychological thriller REVEIL, which will be available on March 6 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
In REVEIL, the player is fully immersed in a carefully crafted world with an emphasis on detail, where the lines between reality and illusion blur. The story takes place in an authentically orchestrated environment inspired by a circus from the 60s, which soon acquires surreal characteristics, and will reveal the mysterious psyche and past of Walter Thompson.
U videu ćete doživjeti početak REVEIL-a, te kratak, ali intenzivan segment koji se odvija u kasnijem dijelu priče. Pridružite se glavnom liku Walteru Thompsonu dok se budi u svojoj spavaćoj sobi, da bi ubrzo nakon toga shvatio da ovo nije njegov dom, već mjesto gdje se različita sjećanja na njega isprepliću. Walter započinje potragu za svojom kćeri Dorie dok se susreće s prizorima iz snova koji kao da se vrte oko cirkusa Nelson Bros u kojem je nekoć radio.
REVEIL izlazi 6. ožujka na PC-u, PlayStationu 5 i Xbox Series X/S, dok će verzija za PlayStation 4 uslijediti kasnije ove godine. Zbog svojih ograničenih resursa, studio je odlučio usredotočiti se na razvoj prethodno spomenutih platformi i potvrdio da se više ne planira izdati verzija za Xbox.
