Kingsgrave is an upcoming metroidvania and adventure game developed by Egg or Chicken Games and published by Alawar. The game invites you to take on the role of a long-dead king, who has been awakened by a spirit with one goal — to revive a kingdom ravaged by a vicious disease.
Your lands are ravaged, surviving subjects have left their homes, and monsters created from fragmented diseased souls have taken their place, devouring all living. It's time to wake up, unite the disunited lands, defeat the darkness and lead your people to prosperity, as in ancient times. Kingsgrave promises a gaming experience that combines a deep story, challenging gameplay with a unique building feature, a variety of puzzles and impressive pixelated graphics.
Unlock new skills by gathering resources, building houses and defeating enemies to bring the people home. The true power of a king lies in his domains and members, by restoring them you become more powerful. Destroy monsters, rescue subjects and clear the land of rotten creatures to restore life.
