Studio Random Worlds has announced its upcoming debut real-time strategy roguelike set in the era of Gallic Wars, Tribe Nation, which will launch on Steam in late 2024 or early 2025.
In the game Tribe Nation, you will return to the period of the Gallic Wars between 58 and 50 BC. You will take on the role of the chieftain of a Gallic tribe, facing the Roman invasion to defend your homeland. In true Rogue fashion, you need to avoid permadeath as you battle your opponents in dynamic battles, employing cunning strategy to escape the Romans across Europe.
Choose your leader, conquer territories, navigate changing weather conditions, adopt druidic wisdom and technology, and trade or craft weapons to experience the essence of antiquity in fast-paced, procedurally generated battles on a hexagonal map lasting 5 to 10 minutes. In battle you can strengthen your camp, manage units and tactically form troops to either win or face defeat.
You'll be able to experience more than a hundred exciting stories, each offering tempting rewards or challenging punishments later this year or next year on PC via Steam.
