Quartet is a beautiful pixel-art turn-based RPG

Share:

Quartet is your typical turn-based RPG title that combines an interesting split story with eight playable characters.

Quartet begins with four separate stories that can be played in any order. These stories merge together, giving the player a final party of eight characters. Train robberies reveal a government conspiracy, while a mysterious deck of cards gives a girl a glimpse into another world. Deadly airships cross the Imperial border, and a hero of incredible power enters the scene. It is precisely these stories that intertwine. Now the heroes will be the ones who will shape the future of this world.

Eight characters clash with various opponents in turn-based combat. The player can control four heroes at once, with the option of quick swapping for any of the four backups. Reserve characters recover quickly, allowing tactically skilled players to continuously use their most powerful attacks.

In the game, players can unlock various elemental and physical skills to exploit opponents' weaknesses. From the steampunk-inspired streets of Leornina to the wild forests of the border; from the cursed swamps of Tyche to the mysterious underground warehouses of Serena, the world of Quartet provides a rich experience for exploration. There is also plenty of equipment to be found which often comes from hidden treasures.

Quartet is set to release on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch sometime this year. If you are eager to try this game, you can play its demo version at Steam.
