Publisher Feardemic in collaboration with Under the Bed Games studio announced that their puzzle and horror adventure Tales From Candleforth will officially release on April 30 for PC (GOG and Steam), Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
Tales from Candleforth is a hand-drawn 2D point & click horror, the first project of the studio Under the Bed Games, which had an exceptional reception at gaming events, winning several awards such as the best puzzle game at IndieDevDay 2023, the best art during Gamepolis 2022 and the game of the year at the Indie Games Málaga 2023 event.
In the first story, we meet Sarah, a 16-year-old girl who is left to run the family pharmacy. Her grandmother disappeared some time ago, but one day Sarah discovers clues that suggest that her grandmother might still be alive. As Sarah explores new powers that only the women in her family can inherit, she enters a world of the occult, mystery and horror to uncover the secrets her family is hiding and the role she plays in it all.
Tales From Candleforth is actually a collection of fairy tales that were written long ago in the pages of a forbidden book to hide its true contents, which means we can expect more sequels that will expand that story. You will face challenging puzzles and interact with the mysterious world to discover the background of this intriguing story.
