Publisher Thunderful Games and developer Wishfully have announced that the highly acclaimed puzzle adventure Planet of Lana will release for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on April 16. As a reminder, Planet of Lana was first released on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store on May 23rd last year. It is also available through Xbox Game Pass.

Planet of Lana is the debut title from Swedish game developer Wishfully, who has dedicated four full years to its creation. This 2D puzzle adventure is crafted simillar to a cinematic experience, boasting intricate visual effects, music, and meticulously hand-painted environments. While the game has both its strengths and weaknesses, if you seek a cozy, moderately challenging, and engaging experience, Planet of Lana is certainly poised to deliver just that.

This game is set on a planet that looks like earth, contains unique flora and fauna, but the civilization that lives on it is not technologically advanced. We take on the role of Lana, a girl who lives with her older sister Ilo. However, her planet is attacked by an army of mysterious robots who capture an entire village located on the sea, in order to conduct an experiment on them. Lana resolutely sets out on a quest to save them all and defeat the robots that have decided to invade her only home. During her journey, she meets a black cat, Mui, who at first glance looks very weak, but is actually a powerful being.

Throughout our adventure, we will solve different puzzles: pull objects to create platforms on which we can jump, avoid enemies and animals, and give orders to our cat to cut a rope, enter a hole or lure an animal so that we can move on.
