Ironbird Creations, a studio owned by All in! Games, known for releasing Ghostrunner and Chernobylite, recently provided an insight through screenshots into the fascinating world of Phantom Hellcat. The game was first announced at Gamescom 2022, where the dynamic display of gameplay wowed audiences around the world. A short video and some fresh images show the diversity of the world in Phantom Hellcat.
Phantom Hellcat is a slasher-platformer that combines classic and modern action games, with inspiration from series like Devil May Cry (rich action battles) and classic platformers like Jazz Jackrabbit, Pandemonium or Sonic 2D. Players will embark on the story of Jolena, a young woman who fights to save her mother and discover the mysterious world of demon hunters.
“In these challenging times for the industry, we wanted to let everyone know that we are still hard at work on the game and we are getting closer to its completion”, said Marcin Kawa, Executive Producer. “Creating a new IP is a significant challenge, so we didn’t want to communicate anything until we were 100% confident in the results of our work", he contemplated.
Alex Godlewska, Game Director, added: “For the past year and a half, the team has put a titanic effort into the project. We are excited that in the coming months, we can share what we have been working on and where we have invested so much energy. We are very proud of both the gameplay and the world we have created.
Phantom Hellcat still doesn't have a specific release date, but it will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
