Paralives will enter early access in 2025

The life simulator Paralives, inspired by The Sims franchise, recently received a new gameplay video, which reveals that the game is planned for an Early Access release in 2025 on PC and Mac.

The video begins with a demonstration of Paramaker, a character creation tool that features various personalities that evolve as you play; talents, perks, and a “vibe” option like energetic, gloomy, or serious. Paras can also have customized sleeping and cleaning habits, further enriching the characters' personalities.

The new trailer highlights group activities and how they work. To hang out or move around in a group, you can click and drag to select several Paras at once and direct them to chat, walk or exercise together. During the conversation, the community bar fills up, and after an hour of playing, you get a selection of relevant community cards to choose from, for the conversation. These choices include typical life simulation topics like hobbies, flirting, and more, sometimes determined by your Paras' personality.

Another important announcement in the Paralives trailer is that while the game will cost money to purchase, it will not have paid DLCs, only free expansions. While there's still plenty of time before public Early Access begins next year, this information is a positive addition to the future competition in the life simulation genre.
