Paradox Interactive and Double Eleven have announced that Prison Architect 2, the 3D successor to their prison management simulator, will be officially released on March 26 on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 at a price of €39.99.

This sequel will provide advanced simulation systems that allow us to create complex structures with a high level of creative freedom within a 3D environment. From building sophisticated structures to managing the needs of inmates and maintaining the institution's financial stability, Prison Architect 2 also expands the gameplay experience by offering an engaging sandbox mode.

In addition, the game introduces a bonding system between prisoners, which will allow them to make friends or enemies with each other, that is, it will affect their interpersonal relationships, choices about friendships, alliances or conflicts. This means that the AI will be much smarter than in the first part, because, as Paradox emphasizes, it will make decisions based on desires and needs and plan its paths better than ever before.
