Paradox Interactive announced their partnership with XperimentalZ Games to publish Escape the Mad Empire, a dungeon-crawling game with intense tactical pause combat and base management gameplay that will release in Early Access on Steam in 2024 under the Paradox Arc publishing initiative.
Escape the Map Empire is a roguelike game in which you control a group of heroes facing different challenges in a series of procedurally generated dungeons, filled with enemies, traps and deadly bosses. In the game, it is essential that you know how to use the unique pausing mechanic, where you will be able to plan your moves in battles in real time.
The game will remain in Early Access for a year, with much of the core gameplay experience already available. There is a tutorial, mission structure, base building, tactical combat and other elements, providing at least 40 hours of gameplay. The full version of Escape the Mad Empire will bring additional complexities, depth and content to enrich the gaming experience.
