Publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Open Roads Team have pushed back adventure game Open Roads from its previously planned release date of February 22nd to March 28th. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
Annapurna Interactive said in a statement that the delay was made to "ensure the smoothest experience for players." Open Roads is a road adventure that follows the journey of 16-year-old girl Tess Devine and her mother Opal. When they find old letters in the attic of their house, they go on a quest for lost treasure near the Canadian border.
The game combines a first-person exploration adventure with a narrative, using hand-drawn and animated characters. In addition, it uses a unique dialogue system to reveal the flaws and secrets of the interlocutor. Enjoy a nostalgic travel experience as you relax in the car on the way to your next destination, flipping through the radio and talking to your mom.
