Isometric action RPG No Rest for the Wicked will launch in early access for PC via Steam on April 18, followed by a full launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC at a later date, publisher Private Division and developer Moon Studios have announced.

The game No Rest for the Wicked, at least according to the presentation so far, is significantly different from the Ori games, but it still bears the distinctive stamp of Moon Studios. It is set in a beautiful world with emphasized verticality and scale, plenty of hidden treasures, monsters to fight and varied missions. At the same time, the game offers intense action combat that requires the use of skills, practice and strategic thinking.

During the Wicked Inside livestream, Moon Studio founders Thomas Mahler and Gennadiy Korol shared new details about key elements of the game. These include a story, a hand-crafted world rich in detail, precision-based combat that allows for animation-driven tactic combat, weapons, spells, rune attacks and evasion techniques, the skills needed to face bosses like “Warrick The Torn”, Sacrament as the capital of Isola Sacra, and how players influence its evolution over time, as well as aspects of housing, crafting, and a flexible interior design system in the planned Early Access.

Players will have the option to face monsters and enemy armies alone or join up to three other players in online co-op mode. This includes the option to work together to overcome challenges or split the group completely so that each player can explore on their own.
