Metroidvania Eden's Guardian draws inspiration from games like Blasphemous, Hollow Knight, and Castlevania, among others, and in just ten hours from the start of the Kickstarter campaign, the game was successfully funded. Voragine Game Studio, a Spanish development team based in Madrid, is developing this game.

In ancient times, a god fell in love with a mortal woman, and they gave birth to two children, the first guardians who inherited divine powers. These guardians ruled the world, but as generations passed, their power waned. Desperate to maintain dominance, they turned to a dark force that strengthened them, but it came at a high price: the loss of sanity.

In the game Eden's Guardian, players will take on the role of a guardian who tried to prevent these grandiose ambitions, which is why she was imprisoned. After many years, she manages to break free, only to find that the world she once knew is crumbling under a mysterious curse. So she embarks on a journey to uncover the secrets shrouded in darkness and discover what happened to this world during her captivity.

Our protagonist uses her sword, which allows her to teleport to where she throws it. Her sword will not only be her main tool for fighting enemies, but will also serve as a means of interacting and moving around the world. For example, you can combine teleportation with other movements, such as running, to cover large distances, or speed up your sword throw to jump even further.

You're in for a challenging metroidvania experience with a refreshing take on the genre, featuring a vast and connected world and stunning hand-crafted pixel art and scenery. In addition, epic boss battles await you where you will face other guardians who have unique abilities and weaknesses.

Eden's Guardian will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. In case you want to support Eden's Guardian, you can do so by clicking this link.
