Black Voyage Games has announced its participation in this year's #TurnBasedThursdayFest, a five-day event dedicated to showcasing the best turn-based titles. From April 4th to April 8th, you'll have the chance to explore the world of Lost In The Open through a demo available on Steam.
Lost In The Open is a tactical roguelike RPG with a touch of fantasy that draws players into the essence of a dark and inaccessible land. After an unexpected assassination plot, you find yourself wounded, alone and on the run from traitors. Survival in this ruthless world is not guaranteed; it requires tactical recruitment, fantastic battles and a journey filled with sincere regret for every wrong move. You play as a king and how you manage the king will determine whether you survive or not.
In this game, node-based exploration meets relentless tactical combat with a randomly generated world, progression, and encounters. The complex and mature story is closely related to the gameplay, and the art style reminiscent of parchment and pen, is deeply inspired by authentic artwork and illustrations from the Middle Ages, but with a modern twist.
Lost in the Open will be available for PC via Steam in 2025.
