Little Big Adventure: Twinsen’s Quest is set to launch this fall for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. This announcement comes from publisher Microids and developer [2.21].
Originally known as Twinsen’s Little Big Adventure Remastered, the game has evolved significantly since its last update in May 2023. The development team has grown, the game engine has switched from Unreal Engine 5 to Unity, and the project has shifted from a remaster to a full remake.
In Little Big Adventure: Twinsen’s Quest, players will step into the fantastical world of Twinsun. This action-adventure remake offers new visuals, music from the original composer, and smoother gameplay compared to the 1994 classic. It also remains faithful to its original story while providing a modernized experience.
The game takes place on the planetoid Twinsun, which has two suns and is home to four species living in harmony. This peace is disrupted when the brilliant scientist Dr. FunFrock invents cloning and teleportation, bringing the inhabitants under his control. Players will take on the role of Twinsen, a model citizen turned fugitive, who must end the clone occupation. Armed with a mysterious Magic Ball, Twinsen explores beautiful landscapes, solves puzzles, and faces formidable foes.
