Publisher Deep Silver and developer Warhorse Studios will announce the new game on April 18 at 11:00 AM PT / 2:00 PM ET / 8:00 PM CEST, the companies said on Twitter. You will be able to watch the unveiling on YouTube and Twitch.

Six years ago, the medieval RPG game Kingdom Come: Deliverance was released, which ended up opening the possibility for further development of the story. With sales of 6 million copies, it was expected to grow into a series. Although the publisher and studio have not officially confirmed the sequel, well-known insiders like Billbil-kun and Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming claim that the new title is indeed Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. A recent promotional video shot in Kutná Hora, Czech Republic, further confirms this claim.

In the first game, players explored 15th-century Bohemia and adapted to challenging survival mechanics. Although it struggled at launch, resulting in mixed reviews from critics, the game has been a significant success with fans, with very positive reviews on Steam and an 8.1 user rating on Metacritic. Warhorse fixed most of the bugs over time and eventually released the game on all major platforms, including the Switch in March.
