Fading Skies is an action-adventure platformer set in a unique fantasy universe full of magic, mystery and unusual characters. The game is inspired by the joy of exploration and freedom of movement found in 3D platforming classics and aims to take the genre in a new direction with immersive design and interactive storytelling.
As Ryn, you embark on a journey to stop the decay of her world, caused by a mysterious dark tower that has appeared among the floating ruins of her home. Before she can reach her pinnacle and end the chaos, Ryn must gain new abilities, defeat corrupt creatures, and face her past to mend broken friendships.
Discover an amazing open world with vivid meadows, dangerous mountains, peaceful forests and thundering canyons. Ominous ruins and secrets await to be discovered around every corner, holding tales of lost civilizations, remnants of their ancient technology, and traces of your lost memories. In addition, Ryne will be accompanied by her pet dragon, who will also have an influence in this world.
Indie studio Distant Blue is bringing this game to life, and it will soon be on Kickstarter. Additionally, as part of the Steam Next Fest in June, the team will release a content-packed demo featuring 2-3 hours of exploration and action.
