Publisher 11 bit studios and developer Odd Meter, after a delay compared to the originally planned release alongside PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG), announced that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game INDIKA will be released on Friday, 17th May.
INDIKA is a third-person adventure game that effectively combines exploration and environmental puzzles, with a hint of platforming. Through its themes of sin, sorrow and ethical dilemmas, INDIKA transcends the conventional boundaries of gaming, resembling an avant-garde film whose aim is to question social conventions rather than simply provide entertainment.
Different ideas are prevalent throughout Indika's journey and she will face many questions along the way. Players will be tasked with guiding her through a series of challenges to discover the answers before she completes her lifelong odyssey. Indika will primarily be focused on solving puzzles, there is no combat system as this is still a linear adventure game focused on the story. More precisely, 30% of the time you will be solving puzzles, 30% listening to dialogues, 30% watching cut scenes.
