Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure first launched in early access for PC via Steam on August 18, 2022, followed by a full release via Steam and the Epic Games Store on November 9, 2023. Now, as of March 21, this game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles, and a version for Nintendo Switch is also planned.

Namely, the goal of Snowcastle Games, the developer of this game, was to create something simple and accessible to all players, with a focus on relaxation and enjoyment, similar to cozy or slice-of-life genres and games such as Coral Island, but with its own flair.
In addition to survival aspects, the game features the option to tame diverse creatures to assist in exploring Ikonei Island. The console versions will launch alongside the Blooming Beginnings update on PC, and a major improvement to the original game is coming with version 1.5.
