Hooded Horse has shared today the latest information about the simulation Fata Deum, the upcoming game in which we take on the role of God. After a year of new hires, new processes, and plenty of behind-the-scenes improvements, the team at 42 Bits Entertainment now looks towards 2024, with a fresh new demo being the first step on the road to release.
In the latest published dev blog, the team detailed UI improvements, additional gameplay features, improved AI behavior, and performance optimizations. Furthermore, they introduced several highly requested features by alpha testers and completed the development of a new six-player map. Finally, the importance of characterizing the various gods in the game through customized visual elements, whose subtle influence on the environment contributes to the atmosphere of the game, has been emphasized.
As the developers slowly move into the year 2024, they are dedicated to creating an updated demo experience located on a new map, which will comprehensively showcase all the improvements the project has seen over the past year. A new demo is expected at the end of this year.
Fata Deum will be available in Early Access for PC via Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store in the first half of next year.
