During last night's Wired Direct 24, the release date for hack & slash cyberpunk adventure Gori: Cuddly Carnage was exclusively revealed. The game will be available for PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on August 29 this year.
In the game, we will assume the role of a vicious but cute cat named Gori, who will fight with his hoverboard F.R.A.N.K and AI CH1P against a horde of crazy, bloodthirsty unicorns and toys aiming to destroy the world. They were accidentally set free by Professor Y and now it's up to you to become a hero and save the Earth from a great threat.
Gori: Cuddly Carnage actually seeks to redefine the 90s platformer for a modern audience. This game is full of dark humor, terrifying toys and bosses, and provides an uncensored heroic adventure of a cat. In it, you will have to master various weapons and devastating combinations in order to save Professor Y, their missing creator, the only man who showed love to Gori and his friends. In addition, you'll gradually hone your combat and platforming skills as you traverse landscapes filled with danger.
