Open-world farming adventure Lightyear Frontier will launch in early access for Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store in March 2024, publisher Amplifier Game Invest and developer FRAME BREAK have announced.
Lightyear Frontier offers players a relaxed opportunity to explore a strange and beautiful new planet, setting up an homestead and building a thriving farm while living in harmony with the environment. Playing solo or with three other players, roaming around in fully customizable mechs, the world will live and react to player actions as they collect, grow and trade resources and explore a land full of sights and mysteries.
With the release date revealed, an initial content roadmap was also released, providing a glimpse of what we can expect post-launch. The team will focus on improving the quality of the game, expanding the world with new maps and exploring the secrets of the Frontier. Furthermore, there are plans to introduce more meaningful interactions with the game's characters, along with improving the dynamics between players, animals, and the Frontier environment, including enriching the game's flora and fauna.
In addition, take care of the balance in the ecosystem, revitalize the surrounding areas by removing mysterious pollution, suppressing invasive weeds and reducing hazards. Plant new trees to replace the decaying ones and ensure a safe life.
