Fallen Leaf is a retro side-scrolling adventure focused on tight, action-designed levels set in a strange world where almost anything is allowed.
Fallen Leaf has more than 70 stages for you to explore while jumping and shooting your way through a pixelated world full of challenges and surprises. But it’s not just about being quick, you’ll need to plan carefully and adapt your combat strategies to succeed. Central to your arsenal are the gauntlet upgrades scattered throughout the game, each enhancing your attacks and empowering you to tackle even the toughest foes. But why stop there? Fallen leaf offers a diverse selection of magical sub-weapons, allowing you to tailor the combat style to suit your preferences.
In Fallen Leaf, just smashing buttons won’t help you much. The game needs you to aim carefully and plan your moves, or you’ll struggle. Yes, the challenges of Fallen leaf are not without rewards. As you progress, you’ll unlock additional characters, each with their own unique gameplay styles, adding depth and variety to your adventure.
Additionally, there’s a big world to explore. You’ll travel through four different maps, pick your own paths, talk to characters in cute towns, and find secret stages. There are lots of different enemies to fight too, like big ones and fast ones, so each battle feels different. Also, the game pays homage to the classic 8-bit era but with a modern twist. Likewise, it offers catchy music that you’ll enjoy listening to as you play.
