Indie developer Vincent Lade has announced an updated gameplay demo and new details for his upcoming survival horror game Jawbreaker, which delivers a thrilling and terrifying first-person gameplay experience that challenges you to hide and fight your way through a terrifying society on the brink of collapse.
Jawbreaker takes place after a devastating economic collapse in 2028, where survival is the only thing that matters. The average person is forced to join armed groups, participating in battles for resources and control of what were once the cities and towns of the United States. You belong to a small gang based in New Citadel City, and the supplies in your bunker are running low.
It's a survival game where a faceless gang is hunting you and you have to run, hide or eliminate those who stand in your way. You'll be looking for supplies and ways to escape, but be prepared because when the sun goes down, the real danger begins. Weapons will be useful, although noise can give away your location. You'll be able to hide under tables or in cabinets, using stealth to your advantage to advance. Also, different endings are included in the game, and your survival instinct and hiding skills will be key to your success.
Jawbreaker will be available on PC via Steam and Epic Games in March of this year.
