Yogscast Games revealed their latest ace, Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers, a unique addition to their growing roster of strategic and quirky indie titles. This new game puts a distinctive spin on the classic card game Blackjack, combining elements from real-life and other card games to create an exciting deckbuilder that fans will want to master.
Set in a bustling tavern filled with rough and ready characters, players will engage in a novel version of Blackjack. The goal is to defeat greedy capitalists exploiting the townsfolk addicted to this card game. With over 250 unique cards, each featuring special effects, every game run offers new strategies and deck-building possibilities. Additionally, you can unlock new starter decks, each demanding different playstyles.
Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers offers a roguelike gameplay experience, and includes unconventional cards like tarot cards, business cards, and even birthday cards in its game.The game features four unique playstyles based on card suits; hearts for healing, spades for protection, diamonds for more currency, or clubs for extra damage, adding layers of strategy and replayability.
The game also includes various mini-games, events and shops where you can buy extra cards, rest or take part in opening booster packs. Despite its name, Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers is more than just a gambling game. It's a challenging adventure where you have to use your wits and strategy to overcome the odds.
