With a significant number of passionate fans of the Hack'n'Slash genre, the team from Eko Software studio with Nacon presented Dragonkin: The Banished. This title will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Steam in February 2025.
The game pays homage to this genre, revealing an original dark fantasy world where the character classes are mutant hybrids between dragons and humans. Players can face challenges alone or in co-op mode with up to four players, following the story and battling powerful dragons to free the world from their domination.
We will play as Barbarian, Witch, Knight and Archer, and each of the heroes has developed fighting techniques to fight dragons. As you progress through the game, you can develop and improve your character, equipment, dragon, and Ancestral Grid. The innovative Ancestral Grid mechanic further enhances your character. Win loot in the form of abilities and place them within the grid with a variety of modifiers. Then adjust the arrangement of these elements to shape your own fighting style and become even more powerful. Each hero has its own grid with endless combinations of abilities and modifiers.
In the very heart of the mountains lies a large city and a fortress of humanity. This city is constantly growing and changing according to your decisions and discoveries. During your adventure, you have the opportunity to choose which area of development to pay attention to, upgrade your buildings, find new residents, equipment and additional services. All heroes in your city can actively participate in its development and contribute to unlocking new content.
