Two Star Games, the developer behind the hit game Choo-Choo Charles, has officially announced its new project during the Summer Game Fest 2024, CUFFBUST, a multiplayer prison escape game set to be released for PC via Steam in 2025.
CUFFBUST is designed to be a thrilling multiplayer experience where you team up with other players to break out of prison. The game boasts a variety of interactive features including destructible environments, proximity chat, multiple escape routes, and 20-player lobbies. You must equip yourself with tools, evade guards, and execute breakout plans before backup arrives.
Also, the environment is highly interactive. You can break through doors, vents, and weak walls using explosives and other tools to access restricted areas. For a more stealthy approach, you can dig underground tunnels using a simple spoon. The game emphasizes the importance of using the environment to your advantage. You can check cameras to locate guards, hijack the intercom to communicate with teammates, and destroy generators to cut power to the building, which disables anti-aircraft guns and phone lines.
