Indie game developer and publisher SWAIN GAMES announced the Early Access release date for DEATHWATCHERS on July 12th, 2024. This title is the official sequel to the popular horror game DEATHWATCH.

In the original game, players observed haunted locations, logged paranormal events, and used various tools to gather data and eliminate paranormal threats. DEATHWATCHERS takes this experience further, offering a 4-player online co-op mode that promises to entertain, excite, and scare players.

The goal is to avoid dangerous entities while figuring out the necessary ingredients for a banishing ritual. Precision is crucial, as using incorrect ingredients could lead to dire consequences. The game also offers a single-player experience. You can choose between the new mode and the legacy CLASSIC mode, which incorporates the original DEATHWATCH gameplay in new environments.

This game features dynamic content, with levels generated uniquely for each session and events occurring randomly. Likewise, the game emphasizes atmosphere, creating tension through audio cues, subtle scares, and the ever-present feeling that something dreadful is about to happen. You will need to travel to various destinations, set up equipment, log events, observe through cameras, set up lighting, and take photos for documentation.

DEATHWATCHERS will be available for Steam.
