Nyctophile Studios unveils Death Relives, an immersive combination of Aztec mythology and horror

Nyctophile Studios has officially announced its first game, Death Relives, which is scheduled to be released at the end of the first quarter of 2024. This game is inspired by Aztec mythology, along with real historical events from the 16th century.

Death Relives introduces players to a nightmarish world where they try to survive from terrible gods that have long been forgotten. While facing Xipe Totec, the god of death, life, rebirth, agriculture, vegetation and warfare in Aztec mythology, players will also visit real historical sites, including the ship that Hernán Cortés used to travel to the land of the Aztecs.

The game also reveals other entities lurking in the shadows, and their story will unfold as Adrian, our protagonist, progresses through the game. In addition, we are accompanied all the time by unique combat and stealth mechanics that require effective use during gameplay. Also, the title will be available with four difficulty settings along with options to turn off jumpscares for players who want to focus more on the story.

Death Relives will be available in the first quarter of this year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S consoles, and PC via Steam.
